Climate hysteria reaches new heights after revelation that government is considering making population switch to vegan diet

Paul Joseph Watson, Prison Planet

Global warming hysteria has reached a new peak after it was revealed that the British government is considering forcing the population to give up meat and milk and adopt a vegan diet in the name of fighting climate change.

I devoted six years to carbon accounting, building models for the Australian government to estimate carbon emissions from land use change and forestry. When I started that job in 1999 the evidence that carbon emissions caused global warming seemed pretty conclusive, but since then new evidence has weakened that case. I am now skeptical.

Well the 2007 Minnesota Legislative Session has ended and we were able to stop the "Global Warming Mitigation Act" from passing. We can all breathe a sigh of relief that are sighing breaths won't be taxed and considered pollution. So thanks to all of you for your efforts in getting this stopped.

Now The Bad News...

(AP) WASHINGTON Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who made the environment a key issue in her Senate campaign last year, proposed a national registry of greenhouse gas emissions Monday as part of an attempt to help reduce such emissions.

Klobuchar's legislation, which she dubbed a "carbon counter," would help track greenhouse gases as a prelude to legislative efforts to limit emissions through a cap-and-trade or other approach. A cap-and-trade system sets limits on carbon emissions and makes companies pay for producing greenhouse gases.

It sounds like something out of the Matrix.

Sea Shepherd founder says mankind is a 'virus' and we need to 're-wild the planet.'
Apparently, saving the whales is more important than saving 5.5 billion people. Paul Watson, founder and president of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and famous for militant intervention to stop whalers, now warns mankind is “acting like a virus” and is harming Mother Earth.

Children 'bad for planet' says environmentalist group
Having large families should be frowned upon as an environmental misdemeanour in the same way as frequent long-haul flights, driving a big car and failing to reuse plastic bags, says a report to be published today by a green think tank.

There are two kinds of people "Glass Half Empty" and "Glass Half Full".
I guess I'm more of GHF kinda guy.

Everytime I hear a lecture on Global Warming some of the "devastating" things that could happen to us in Minnesota are: longer growing seasons, shorter winters, more plant growth and less heating fuel needed. Being a GHFer, I automatically assume that these are good things.

I was recently shopping at a local Home Improvement Store and they had a display of grape plants for sale. Not the little wild kind of grapes that we've always had in Minnesota, but the big Napa Valley kind. I got really excited and bought a bunch. I figured they wouldn't be selling them here if they don't grow here. So I started a vineyard on a west facing hill overlooking M4GW's world headquarters.
