Well its a cold day in Minnesota, I don't know exactly what the temp is here because the wind blew my thermometer away and it broke. But its close to -20º F, plus with that 30 plus mile per hour wind, the windchills are in the -50's. So I'm using extra heaters and blow dryers to unthaw my pipes. Then I stop and wonder if all this extra energy I'm using is causing Global Warming and I say "I HOPE SO!".
Then I did a search on Google news for "coldest winter" and here is what I got...

I think putting a tax on CO2 at this point will only cause furhter human suffering. Wouldn't that money be better used to help people who are adversely affected by the weather?

Keep up the fight, These Global Warming Nuts are hurting the country.
Where I live, I think today is our 8th consecutive over-38C day in a row! Our record hottest spell is still a stretch back in the 30's, though. But over East in Sydney, Melbourne & Brissie they're having really unseasonably cool weather.
Oh, and the Antarctic ice mass is still growing -- maybe that's why the media only ever talks about the Arctic Ice Cap? If you ever want any more info on the Antarctic ice levels & temps, drop me an email.
Some of the Alarmists who've spent the past few years telling us that by 2010 we won't have any water left at all are looking pretty silly right about now. We're having rain all over the place, big rain. The other day in Perth we had an entire summer's worth of rain in less than 24 hours!
Oh my god you guys are really full of it. Well unseasonably weather is what happens when the globe warms up... you get droughts and floods where there weren't any. And colder weather in cold regions and hot spells in warm regions... you think taxing on "CO2 at this point will only cause furhter human suffering" ok you choose to live up there where it's cold but what about the tens of MILLIONS of people that will be flooded when the poles melt? And those people live in poor countries and don't have a choice.
So if it snows in Sidney for the first time ever that is caused by Global Warming?
Hi - I really needed to say thank you for sharing your personal points on us all. After I read the entry, I'd personally like to read a few of your opinions about these latest earthquakes ravaging various countries.
This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer other methods.
