Cap'n Trade And His Mates, Plan To Plunder YOU

Cap & Trade is rearing its ugly head again, this time its being called The American Clean Energy and Security Act (ACES). President Obama revealed it on earth day April 22, 2009, and its got all of the usual suspects including Al Gore and Goldman Sachs, and they stand to make billions off this tax.
They are trying to push through a very serious, very burdensome carbon tax. Fashioned after the Enron model, a new derivatives bubble that could easily reach $700 billion per year! . Plus there is in fact no scientific consensus on the issue, no matter how hard Al Gore tries to tell us there is.
What Is The Goal of ACES?
ACES promotes renewable energy, carbon capture and sequestration, low-carbon fuels, electric vehicles, and smart grids; increasing energy efficiency in buildings, appliances, transportation, and industry. Plus it is supposed to create millions of new jobs, in fact a whole new "Green" economy. And oh yeah... stop global warming.
It Sounds To Good To Good To Be True
Like most Ponzi Schemes if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Because the way they want to achieve these goals is through carbon offsets, remember Enron?
In general, under cap and trade, the amount of carbon that energy producers emit is capped. They can exceed that cap through the purchase, i.e., "trade," of carbon permits. The money for those permits would be collected by the government and presumably redistributed under a system still being crafted.
"The reality is the cap-and-trade legislation offered by the Democrats amounts to an economic declaration of war on the Midwest by liberals on Capitol Hill," Chairman of the House Republican Conference Mike Pence (R-Ind.) told CNSNews.com.
"We are going to increase costs on every American with this plan -- and the other thing we need to keep in mind is the millions of American jobs we are going to put at risk if we impose this new tax on American industry when our competitors around the world will not," House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) told CNSNews.com in a press conference on Thursday. "It's pretty clear."
Both Pence and Boehner have said they estimate that, in total, the Democrats' cap-and-trade legislation could cost each American family up to $3,100 a year.
Picking Winners And Losers
Another problem is how these credits are administered. This power is delegated to administrators at the state and local levels and it is at their discretion. This empowers carbon offset sellers and government administrators to pick the winners and losers.
The biggest winner of course is Al Gore because this was all his idea and his firm stands to make money every time a carbon permit is exchanged.
Of course the biggest losers in all of this are the American people, because these costs will be passed on to us the consumer.
So Contact your Congressman and say You Are Against The Clean Energy Act.
Who was it that said, "If you repeat something enough times, people begin to think it's true"? Wasn't that a commentary about the propaganda arm of the Nazi party or something? Whatever, that sure seems to be the tactic chosen by Gore. He keeps saying AGW is an indisputable fact. When confronted with credible disputation, he simply replies that it is an indisputable fact. What explains why his proposed bill is actually being taken seriously? Is it that so many of his party see how much revenue can be realized? Or is it that so many of both parties have heard his repetition so often?

Yes, by all means. We printed 1,000 and handed them out at a Tax Rally at our capital on Saturday, So we know there was at least 1,000 people there not the 100 the media touted.
We printed them up on an 11 x 17 both sides folded into 8 1/2 x 11. Just in Black and white that worked great. If you want the pdf in printer spreads to do that let me know I'll upload them.
