SCIENTISTS at the University of East Anglia (UEA) have admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based.
It means that other academics are not able to check basic calculations said to show a long-term rise in temperature over the past 150 years.
The UEA's Climatic Research Unit (CRU) was forced to reveal the loss following requests for the data under Freedom of Information legislation.
The data were gathered from weather stations around the world and then adjusted to take account of variables in the way they were collected. The revised figures were kept, but the originals -- stored on paper and magnetic tape -- were dumped to save space when the CRU moved to a new building.

Back in 2007 the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Massachusetts, (Ed Markey), against the EPA to force them to declare CO2 as a pollutant. Data on global warming was submitted into evidence and can there be any doubt that it some of it came from the CRU with some sort of affidavit conserning its authenticity.
Does this revelation bring ample reason for the court to revisit the case on the grounds of manufactured evidence or outright perjury?
Over 30 billion has been spent on this nonsense and I damn well hope some people go to jail for fleecing US taxpayers who footed the bill.
They have paper shredders like the ones Enron used? And Watergate? And the Iran-Contra folks too? Shredder business must be booming.
I know how to reduce carbon emmisions - humans are carbon based life forms no? There are a bunch of this CO2 emmiters in Washington that are NOT doing this planet or it's people ANY good...suppose we "recycle them?" Hmmmmmmmmmmm?
I love your blog.. very nice colors & theme. Did you create this website yourself or did you hire someone to do it for you? Plz reply back as I'm looking to create my own blog and would like to know wheere u got this from. thanks
