Copenhagen climate summit: Tony Blair calls on world leaders to 'get moving'
The world must take action on climate change at Copenhagen even if the science is not correct, Tony Blair, the former Prime Minister has suggested.
Following the 'climategate scandal', Mr Blair said the science may not be "as certain as its proponents allege".
But he said the world should act as a precaution against floods, droughts and mass extinction caused by climate change, in fact it would be "grossly irresponsible" not to.

We also better prepare for attacks by wild mastodons and saber-toothed tigers, annihilation by asteroid impact, and tie a string from the earth to Alpha Centauri so we don't fall into our own sun.
Amazing that Blair can be so good on terrorism and so bad on everything else.
You're right. They call it the "precautionary principle" .. We also must construct a giant rocket engine that keeps the earth turning and revolving around the sun, we can't simply rely on the natural forces, we must "take control" of all these things now. You know this is all part of our duty of being the "good steward" of the environment.
An amazing admission ... I give Tony Blair full points for honesty, in acknowledging that climate science is completely discredited.
Let's be reasonable: Blair has been told for decades that global warming is an irrefutable scientific fact. I wouldn't expect him to change direction on a dime.
Credit to him for "starting to turn the ship around"; it can't be easy to admit you've been fooled for so long.

Makes me wonder if Blair has investments in alternate forms of energy (like Tim Flannery), carbon trading (like Al Gore) or closing down plants (like Dr Rajendra Pachauri). Hmmmm!
And he used to be the priminister?
Is Tony Blair High? I mean is this what happens when a Country -England, gets SOAKED in Socialism for Years?
This has to be the Progressives last hurrah. The Progressive wave has crested and it leaving behind scandal after scandal.
