Mounting evidence shows disaster was deliberately contrived either through conscious negligence or outright sabotage and is being allowed to worsen.

There can now be no doubt whatsoever that the BP oil spill was purposefully contrived, either through deliberate negligence or outright sabotage, and is now being used to further the Obama administration's political agenda. Criminal investigations into the government and BP's role in the disaster need to be launched by state authorities in Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi immediately, while local authorities also need to call emergency legislative sessions in order to take over emergency response efforts from the feds before the crisis gets much worse.

This article is a bit alarmist, which is to be expected considering it's from Alex Jones. From what I have read/seen there is no evidence of sabotage, just negligence from both Transocean and BP. Transocean knew that the annular (a rubber gasket in the blow-out preventer that stops gas getting out of the borehole) was damaged because one of their employees showed a supervisor the pieces of rubber that had broken off it and been pushed out of the pipe on the rig. BP was negligent because they forced Transocean to alter their usual procedure in order to save time by withdrawing drilling mud from the borehole before the drilling was completed, meaning adequate pressure to keep the oil and gas in the hole wasn't there. Also Halliburton may or may not be at fault too because their concrete plugs did not hold.

Obama is however using the incident to further his anti-oil/anti-industry agenda, and we should also be very conscious of that. Accidents happen. This was an accident caused by negligence, but unfortunately it happened at a very convienient time for Obama. There doesn't appear to be any evidence yet that it was planned.

Remember that BP are only drilling all the way out there because the environmental lobby won't let them drill in shallow water or on land where it is far safer and easier to control the well because it 'damages the environment'. Go figure.

It has also been suggested by someone in the industry that the borehole has been compromised deep down and that the oil is leaking laterally into the rocks, eroding them as it goes. This would be the reason why BP can't stop it, because there is another major leak in a place it is impossible for them to reach. They won't tell anyone this for obvious reasons.
