Can Bill Gates Save Us?

With Frankenstorm bearing down on the east coast maybe we should be asking Bill Gates for help.

Back in 2009 Bill Gates filed for 5 patents which could control hurricanes. I suppose the patents are still sitting on somebody's desk at the U.S. patent office but maybe President Obama could push this through. Do we even need a patent to at least try it?

Or maybe we should call these guys ore maybe the Chinese.

I guess my point is it seems like we could be doing more to prevent events like this from happening and we just seem to let them happen without trying any of these technologies. This is 2012 and we are America, are we going to let the Chinese beat us in this too?
